Heritage Festival: calling all cookie makers.

Baking sessions throughout September with a goal of 300 dozen Scandinavian varieties. This booth is sponsored by the Daughters of Norway, with a portion of the profits to benefit Tordenskjold Lodge. The Festival is Oct 1 and 2, 2010 at Tordenskjold Lodge.

We'll need batter makers, cookie bakers, baking equipment and storage control and containers!

Shirley is in charge! Call 328-1872 for information and encouragement. All baking will be at Tordenskjold Lodge 6710 N Country Homes Blvd . This can count towards your Cultural Cooking medal at Sons of Norway.

We'll start at 9:00 AM each day.

SEPT 9, 20,11 SANDBAKKELS Bring rolling pin, metal spatula and sandbakkel tins(if you have)
SEPT 13, 15, 17 KRUMKAKER Bring krumkaker iron and rolling cones
SEPT 21, 23,25 ROSETTES Bring fry daddy/electric skillet, rosette irons, meat fork, slotted spoon
SEPT 27, 29 FATTIGMAN Bring rolling pin, pizza cutter, metal spatula, meat fork, slotted spoon, fry daddy/deep fryer/electric skillet. (oil provided)

Krumkaker and Fattigman are easier when 2 people work together. If you have family or friends who want to learn, please do bring them.
